When Frank Mir owned the UFC interim heavyweight title, he always made clear that he didn’t believe his own belt made him the best heavyweight in the world: Mir, like most MMA observers, said that Fedor Emelianenko is the top heavyweight. But now Mir’s opinion has changed.
Asked on the DAM Show why he thought Fedor had chosen to fight for Strikeforce instead of the UFC, Mir stated what many others have suggested; that Fedor isn’t interested in proving himself against UFC champion Brock Lesnar and the other top fighters in the UFC. Listen to the interview here:

If Fedor is “ducking” UFC fighters it sure as hell ain’t Frank Mir.
Here is a hot tip Mir, don’t stand and trade with Kongo… your not that great at striking.

Haha – yeah, I don’t think frank mir ever entered Fedor mind when he was contemplating signing with the UFC. Mir needs to put his ego back in the box. Plus, his striking hasn’t greatly improved, nog’s just diminished. Mir threw the same 3 punch combination for their entire fight.

I wonder why Mir thought Lesnar was going to stand and strike? Its pretty obvious Lesnar’s a one dimensional fighter and that dimension is GNP.

Oh…. and I highly doubt Fedor is ducking the UFC and its fighters.
