Last week went by method too quick. It was full of household visits, enjoyable 4th of July celebrations, operating, a lot good meals, and time spent with one of our favorites, Kyle’s mom!
We’re finally hitting that spot in the summer where I’m already over the heat, and I’ll be counting down the days till it gets a bit cooler around right here. It’s not a lot the heat that bothers me, but the humidity. There are 77 extra days until Fall, but for the South, meaning 77 extra days till it “might” escape the 90’s. Now that my foot has utterly healed, I can finally get again out and start operating again. The fourth of July celebrations have been so enjoyable, however I used to be so able to get house, shower, and crawl into mattress!
I awakened at 6:00 am on Friday so I might make a cup of coffee and drive to the airport to select up Kyle’s mom! I used to be so excited because we hadn’t seen her in so long. Kyle needed to work in the morning, so I didn’t mind heading to the airport early 😊
Later within the afternoon, the three of us headed to Akahana sushi for dinner! I ordered my favorite, the gluten-free hen lettuce wraps with out mushroom, and a ginger salad on the aspect.

We headed to the films later in the night to see Toy Story four. I noticed how emotional and hormonal I’m as a result of I cried at every little thing, even when it wasn’t sad. I’m glad we did it, and it was enjoyable to have something to do, however I will say it was a bit overrated. If you need a fun workshop in Charlotte, I’ll persist with Anders Ruff!
However…I’ve been watching YouTube tutorials on candle making, and I’m going to be doing it at residence once I get some free time as a result of that seemed like enjoyable!
The better part of the night time was going to Haymaker for dinner. This is one of my favourite places in Charlotte to eat. The food is farm to table, and the service is phenomenal. I ate there with Caitlin throughout Vlogmas Day one, and I’ve been dying to get again there ever since. We spent the evening watching Up (makes me cry each time) and enjoying do-it-yourself peanut butter vanilla ice cream. I’ll be posting the gluten-free // dairy-free s’mores ice cream recipe this week!
For breakfast on Sunday morning, I had a delicious inexperienced smoothie! It had a frozen banana, frozen mango, water, superb grass greens, vanilla protein powder, spinach, and topped with granola and Rxbar nut butter.
